ALOT OF GREAT DRIVERS RAN WITH MUTUAL! LOTS OF HOOSIERS! AND INDY 500 WINNERS!:applaud::applaud:

Butch, I'm just reading your post, I just got one from Scheffel, about something else, but I know you guys get together once in a while, so I'll try to make one soon. Duke, yes, I'm near Grammer, name does sound familiar, but that part of the memory hasn't been used lately, so the dust is real thick, but those were some "innovative racing days", we always looked forward to the Ca guys coming in for the season. Best there ever was. Bob

Were the tenderloins good today? Always are! See they've torn down Norris's Shell Station, now I'm lost, trying to find White Castle! Duke, Butch drove for Nugent Auto Supply, about the same time Jim was driving for Columbus Auto Supply, am I close on that, Butch? I was doing go-karts at the time, had a lot of machine work done at both places, you could get race engine work done on about any street corner in Columbus then, I was building a 3/8 X 3/8 flatdead for my A coupe about then ,and was having at least 4 of the shops doing work, that's what Mr Godfrey Harrison wanted, I worked for him, and he expected me to spread it around. Fleetwood always had a lot of interesting stuff he was working on, dual mag setup, Jiggler heads for the 60's, think he even had some Ardun stuff in there at times. Later!
