Feature will be run 6/24

ronmil 3/25/17 8:54 PM

Well, I guess I made the right choice after all. Sorry that those of you who made the trip got rained out, but at least you got to see a decent portion of the program before the rain. Hope next weekend is better for the 'burg and Terre Haute.

ronmil 3/25/17 9:09 PM

Thanks for the updates, Jen!

So will the arm bands get us in for that makeup race?

SPD 37 3/25/17 9:52 PM

Track said No to the arm bands per their policy.

Really surprised there wasn't at least 50 cars there tonight. Where were some of the usual heavy hitters at?

IndianaSprintFan 3/25/17 10:09 PM

We seen 31 cars pUT in 32 laps shy of a full show. I'll take it on March 25th. Please don't ***** and just more on. They tried their best

SPD 37 3/25/17 10:37 PM

Good job Brownstown! You tried, moved the program along quickly! Thanks for rescheduling the no way out 40!

flagboy55 3/25/17 10:51 PM

Big race at Mansfield tonight, I saw at Windom was there. On a side note Jac was going to be running double duty tonight, with and without the wing. Hope he does more of that this year

Were pit passes refunded or were purses paid? Which one?

Absolutely. There's nothing else they could have done. There was no wasted time, it was just Mother Nature's time to move in and the clock just ran out. It's too bad for everybody, because it was a good field, they had a nice crowd and the racing was good. Short was on a rampage through the field, after having to go to the back on lap 1.

Here's the deal. Per most tracks rain out policy's and Brownstowns, If heats and consi's are complete, It's considered a complete show. and NO REFUNDS. The purse is there, The race will be run. Before a complete MSCS show in June. So yes, You have to pay again to see it and compete in it. But you also are included in that nights program as well.

BTown tried all they could, Ran the program off with no downtime other than accidents. I don't fault them. It is what it is. Got to see a lot of laps turned today and had a good time. Weather I can make it back in June, IDK. Not upset. I knew there was a chance going in.

Thanks BTown and all the competitors for giving us some racing tonight, Had a good time.

My only thing was why did they fool around with the mods b main when they knew weather was coming? I got to see sprint cars in Indiana in march

The Mod B main was brutal. Do they not do timed races at Brownstown?

Question; I noticed in the heat rundowns there was a listing for Cummings. Just wondering if that wasn't Cummins (Kyle) instead of Cummings.

Chris Nunn 3/26/17 2:21 PM

There was Kyle Cummins and Braxton Cummings

Cottle, Windom, & Haudenchild were at Mansfield. Shane won the 2nd heat race for the non wing sprints.
