slider20, sometimes as a flagman you just want to strangle some drivers. I never got to flag a sprint car race but I've sent entire classes off the track in karts. As a flagman you really need a cold drink after your done.

I know I know, but still he acted like he was gonna throw it at Dickie Gaines of all people. All he did was get on the gas a little in 4 under caution to catch up to the field, there was no one even near him. The pump fake flag throw was way overboard lol

Re: Sprints @ Twin Cities

Drew Abel has some cool shirts for sale so if you can get by his trailer after a race, stop by and pick one up and help support his team as with all drivers who sell shirts and other merchandise :6::6:

Re: Sprints @ Twin Cities

All cars make it out. 32 did a donut while warming up and kept it going. Field is taking shape. Almost 9pm and the A main is being pushed off :8: Thanks Twin Cities! Green is out!! Abel has the early lead. Wissmiller to 2nd. Wissmiller leads lap 1. Abel on his tail. Abrams 3rd, Hampton 4th. Wissmiller is pulling away. 1-04a-32-4j....5j 10th. Yellow flag is out. Abrams shreds a left rear tire. 9 down I believe.

1 04a 4j 04 74 42 77 44 76 2m 5j 16r top 12. 31 stopped to miss the 32. 8 laps down. Donelson to the work area. Donelson is changing a tire. It's hard for Keith to see with the lighting so will try to get as much info as he can. There are 9 laps down, not 8. Abrams will restart. Green flag back out! Wissmiller still leads. 04a-4j-04. Moffatt to 7th. 1 04a 4j 04 77 44 5j...Wissmiller strong on the bottom. Hampton and Bland Jr. battling. Moffatt to 6th. Abel is coming. Moffatt to 5th. Yellow flag. Jeff Bland Jr. slows

One of the races, can't remember which one he waved the green flag to start and got it caught on the flag stand and it took a minute for him to get it released :5:

Great run by Moffatt, a few more laps and I think he might have been able to pull out the win. He continues to impress!!!

Keith said he was the fastest car on the track. Would have been cool to see a battle for the win there at the end but a great run nonetheless. :6:

Yes, he was coming no doubt about it. I have been to Twin Cities twice this year and Mitch Wissmiller has won both. He looked really good too. I would like to have seen what Garrett Abrams could have done if he would have been able to stay up front. I have rarely seen a tire come apart like his did.

In the mid 70s and 80s I remember Pete being a really good motocrosser in district 15 Indiana. You guys think you have lost a lot of car race tracks man did they loose a ton of moto cross tracks in Indiana..
Sounds like Drew is doing a good job out there!!
