Kyle simply was trying to use space currently occupied by his fellow competitors. It happens in this race. I do believe he abused some people and to be honest I heard one top six finisher say that he has enough respect for Bob East to not tear up his racecar. I would, however, advise Hamilton to bring some extra parts to the Fort Wayne indoor race in December.

Re: Little 500
Damn 5 pages of this and I did'nt even get 1 mention. Oh well keep flying under the radar I guess...

Was just getting ready, Geoff.
I always assumed lapped cars, push trucks, and yes contact between cars was part of this race. Rather than trash guys a little positive should come in here someplace. Being from northern Indiana I'll give a big thumbs up for Kaiser, Nuenswander, and Fuller. All of the 64, 10 & 9 crews congrats for a fine night.:8 |

What was wrong with the driver?

I saw that there is supposed to be an award for "Most Improved". Is that for improvement from starting position? If so, it should go to Kaiser and the Speed Chasers car. They moved up 20 spots, more than anyone else. Can't find anything about who got it on the Anderson Speedway web site.

Re: Little 500
Another fun little 500. Attendance was up for sure. Lot of fun. Congrats to Wilson on the win. Awsome job. Rookie of the year Jerry Coons did an aawsome job keeping the car in 1 piece. Slam of the night goes to Windom. That was awsome! Kiser wins the night stalker award. I garuntee you most people did not realize how great of a run he had. People can complain about hamilton all they want, but I have seen that 5 car run like a bull in a china shop SEVERAL times before. BC's run was amazing. Most other contenders would have parked it early after getting tangled. Can not wait fr next year.

Re: Little 500
Could anyone tell me where I might find the timing data from the transponders on line? I would like to see some lap times as the race progressed.

Re: Little 500
Go to mylaps.com Lloyd

Re: Little 500
I still can't figure out why Santos was all over the back of Wilson, even though he was many laps down at the end of the race. If anyone is interested, I do have a photo that shows just HOW close.
The other thing that I have not seen any comment on and I figure is worth some kind of mention is AP's front bumper. What's next, chariot wheels? |

Re: Little 500
It looks bad in the pic and I was watching it close but pretty sure we all have seen him run enough to know that Bobby wouldn't have crashed Jake. I don't think he should have been racing him that hard but Bobby knew who was in front of him I'm sure:31:

Bobby had some bad luck during this race (part of the deal)or he would have easily been in the top four or better at the end. He was fast! There's always next year I guess. |

Re: Little 500
He retired! I just heard...he's going to start doing street rods I guess. It's shame. I really liked seeing his ingiuity. It was kind of old school build your own stuff which I think is very cool!

Looked like several have retired. Right around 16 starters from last year were absent this year. Several are still racing, but I thought this to be an unusually high number of MIAs for just one year passing.

Re: Little 500
I can understand it. It's a very good way of turning 5 grand into 2 grand.

Re: Little 500
So what happend to the car Eric Gordon was running? I would have to think that ca would be worth some decent money to somone.
