i'm ready, is the hwy still under construction in Indiana at I-275 and I-84? my 15 min. drive turned into a 2 1/2 hr. fiasco last week/ ended up getting off and pointing the car in the general direction of the track and found it somehow

Rt 1 is closed till the 13th. I 74 is one lane when they feel like working on it so try at your own risk.

Yeah Rube, I don't think even in the far off, imaginary world of Johnnyland, you can get to The Burg using I-84.:3:

johnnythunderhead 8/3/13 12:45 AM

you've no choice but to travel I-84 for a short distance where it and I-275 are one in the same hwy, until I-275 bends south towards the burg (which is where the *$^&&* construction is)

look at a map and you will see where rt. 126, the Reagan (cross county hwy) becomes I-84 and I-275 for a short distance (where I-84 east heads toward the nati and I-84 west and I-275 south move west leading to where I-275 bends south towards the burg)

That would explain why he said it was "like a parking lot". It WAS a parking lot.

Mr. Thunderhead, if you refer back to JazzTrombone's reply I believe you'll find your question WAS answered. I think it's already been said before but bears repeating... Keep posting Johnny, keep posting! And as far as jerks, are you familiar with the pot calling the kettle black??

Re: BOSS Sprints! @Burg

Didn't look like a back-up today when I was on Rt. 128. A long but easy detour would be to exit at Blue Rock Road and head west about 5 miles. At the stop sign just past Great Miami River turn left. Continue west (New Haven Road) until about 2/3 mile after the flashing red light/stop sign to Dry Fork Road which Y's to the left. Go past I-74 to the stop sign and turn right (Simonson Road). This dead-ends into Kilby Road, turn left. About 5 miles to I-275.

You're right about one thing Johnny: we are terrible comedians. None of us could ever come up with anything as hilarious as suggesting that a track was going to start 68 cars in the feature.
Seriously, I'll make a deal with you. I'll stop my mocking if you'll stop your complaining.
I hope you see a great race tonight at the Burg.
