What a joke...... I'm so glad I didn't drive up for this race. When I'm at TSS I never complain about track rework. Have fun ladies

Sounds like an all nighter! should have had turned the track under wed. or thursday night and been watering it since. Last minute stuff does not cut it.

wildman92 7/19/13 8:36 PM

Kudos to Chase Stockon who drove over to the stands during the downtime and threw t-shirts into the stands. He certainly didn't have to do that and it's not the driver's fault the track was crap but he felt he needed to do something to keep the fans happy. Other drivers should follow his lead to make the best of a not so good situation.

I think Chase made a bunch of new fans tonight

Can't be too late with the neighborhood off the 3rd turn. Last thing they need is a lawsuit

I've heard the people who live in that neighborhood are pretty cool people. 😉

It's Indiana Sprint Week. Best drivers in the country racing in your backyards and you guys ***** cause its taking to long? It's Friday night. You guys got a date or something? Btw this isn't directed at any one person, just anyone and everyone that likes to complain. USAC isn't even coming to KC this year and last year at Valley they had to do the same thing to the track. Took at least an hour. After they turned them loose they said it was one of the raciest tracks all year.

Around here we prefer tracks to be prepped prior to the evenings festivities

Looks like KT brought his "A" game again. Oooooops. Chase Stockton just jumped ahead of him for fast time. And now Windom.

I don't disagree, but if your weather has been like ours it's been near or over 100 degrees heat index for a week. You could've grown up in a part of the country where everyone races modifieds. It can always be worse

peacedaddy101 7/19/13 9:24 PM

Wow looks like the track really went away at the end..... Meh...

1koolkat 7/19/13 9:26 PM

Went away??? your last 3 drivers in qualifying 1.2.3 Chris Windom sets fast time over Brady Bacon and Bryan Clauson. "Da Bear"'s time was 11.357

If anyone at Bloomington Speedway is reading this, change the direction of the temporary lights in turn 4. I am sitting in turn 4 and the lights are blinding our view of the back stretch. Seriously, glad to be here, but thought you may want to know for the experience of the fans in this corner.

4 heats will be run announcer said no qualifier...i assume with scratch of Shuman and a couple others.

Totally agree. I've hated those lights since they put them in this year. I appreciate wanting to shed more light on the track as I'm sure it helps the drivers but they are blinding for the fans.

Ice Cream was great. Now lets change the direction of the lights aimed for turn 4, it is difficult for us patient fans to see the racing. Thanks

We are not in Missouri. We expect what we expect because we are in the land of sprintcars and have a lot of tracks to compare each with. JMO

Wow.. Nice way to bash thousands of modified drivers and fans who aren't even causing any trouble. Heck they aren't even running modifieds tonight.
