I was wondering the same thing. Joe put $500 in and still didn't break $1k!

Re: Can we get any posts from LPS?
Once Clauson took the lead, even though Bell threw everything in the book at him, I never at any point thought he was going to get the lead back from him. BC's been winning races at this track since he was 15 years old and just knows his way around this place better. Stanbrough had a good night, with a strong run, combined the with bad luck of Dave Darland and KT Jr. He's within 8 points of the leader, now. Clauson is now within 10. And they're going into two tracks that the leader's two closest competitors are very good at. This one's looking like it's going to go down to the wire.
You had to also feel bad for Tracy Hines and Shane Cottle. Both hit that bad spot between one and two and were violently sent over the edge of the turn, sealing the fate for both. And how about Wes Mac? I've had such a good time watching that guy race, this Sprint Week. He's had good luck and bad luck but each night has just driven the p*ss out of that 83 car. Went from 18th to 3rd in the B-Main and passed probably another 10 cars in the feature. Great driving! The racing was great all night and that was the biggest crowd I've ever seen at Putnamville. They literally ran out of parking spots and were parking cars in the pits and along the access roads getting out of the track. Now on to the red clay of Bloomington to see what twists and turns await us. Jerry |

Great night of racing before a HUGE crowd! Can't believe DD's luck the last two nights; hope he gets back on track and captures one more national sprint car title.
I came in on 40 and was quite surprised to find the west gate locked. After entering the east gate, I was informed that I would have to park in the pits, then I was told to park along the fence outside turn one and two. I observed other vehicles making their way up to the upper level, so, I followed and found a decent parking space not all that far away. Judging by the amount of cars parked near the treeline when I left, a lot of other people somehow found their way up there too. After all the rainouts LPS has experienced, I'm glad they had such a successful evening. |
