Poor Chad, he has had a rough night. I am glad he is ok though.

TH: Why don't you just sit in the stands and either post results yourself or get them to someone else? It's really not a big deal. As you can see, two guys with phones are able to cover the results just as well. It really should have nothing to do with Tri-State Speedway, MSCS, or POWRi unless they want to do something on their own.

Kirk,

As i explained earlier i am not allowed to do live updates from the track. Do you really think i like this???? I am respecting what i was told not to do. I have probably already said more tonight than i should. Nonetheless.... I will not post myself as i cannot. I am not sending results to someone because if it gets back i did i am in trouble. I don't know how else i can clarify this. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. And yes it is a big deal. You have no idea how big a deal it is.

No, what I'm saying is, if you don't make a huge deal about it, they have no clue as to who you are and no inclination to hunt you down and kick you out. As long as you've paid your thirty bucks and have a phone, you can do updates.

I understand that you're trying to get people to your website or whatever, but people have been doing updates on here for four or five years. It's not anything new, and it's not anything monumental. You don't have to get official results from the scorers or anything like that - it's just race fans keeping race fans informed on what's happening. While everyone appreciates any and all results from the track, it is only a big deal if you make it into one...

John, tell Jerry to keep his head on a swivel - they've got snipers on the roof!

It's called credentials, people. It's the only way us poor boys go racing. Our advertisers are great.... But we don't have enough CASH now to get into the track. We get credentials wherever we can. So called it schooled or whatever. Pit passes and fuel for 2 days of racing is not cheap as i am sure no one here needs reminded of. Poor boys trying to give back to the sport that gave us a lot. It's damned if i do and damned if i don't. I guess i will just shut the hell up since it becomes a bashfest on me. Thanks for everything folks.

It's great that you can do that. But you're not getting Spridge's point... you don't have to be identified as the person giving info. You're at the track. You call one of your IOW buddies who couldn't go and let him know what's up. Posters have been doing just that for quite some time now and those of us who couldn't travel really appreciate it. Updates have been one of the most valuable parts of this website... whether they're in great detail or just a quick rundown.

Thanks rf20 for filling us in tonight!!!

racefan20 6/29/08 12:20 AM

Re: Haubstadt updates

Red lap 21 Biro he's OK
Clayton also off on the hook, he said it looked like his nerf bar was dragging but he wasnt involved in Biro's flip
Same order except for Clayton who'd passed AJ before the red

Thanks rf20 for filling us in tonight!!!

The thought crossed my mind but I elected to play it safe. Argue playing it TOO safe... but it's the call I made here.

The people I do know from IOW are not able to post tonight or are here. I have no others phone numbers. IF people gave me phone numbers...... well you can fill in the rest.

Final OFFICIAL results will be up on T2D in the LIVE @ THE TRACK RIGHT NOW. Thank you to those who do appreciate what we do.
