Agar's photo posted in another thread clearly shows the bend Brent put in the left nerf bar when he "ran over a right front" :20:

Holy cow. Thanks for the picture. That will just scare the crap out of you.

The only thing I dnt get is Jarrett and beauchamp both were going to transfer I think Jarrett should've been counting cars in heat race but that's just my opinion race hard for the money like I seen Bradley starret say the heat races and hot laps dnt pay any cash

The race wasn't using a USAC format, they were racing for starting position in the feature. I know it sounds the same as a transfer spot but it is much different.
Winner of heat 1 is #1. Winner of Heat 2 is #2 and so on. Hotlaps and heat races don't pay anything... But a good heat race finish improves your chance at winning. Posted via Mobile Device |

I too was there the night Joe flipped into the trees off of turn three. I was in the pits helping a friend of mine with his car. I don't think I've ever seen a car bounce as high as Joe did after the car hit the ground the first time. Each time it hit it seemed to bounce higher and further. I remember the motor running wide open for what seemed like eternity before it either blew or or got shut off. As I remember, Joe was stuck in a tree several feet off the ground. The "safety crew" got to Joe just a few seconds before several guys from the pits did. I don't know who did what, but somehow Joe's belts got released and he fell from the car to the ground. To say he was HOT would be a major understatement! Joe did have a broken collarbone, but that was his only injury. The car was not so fortunate.

I am just glad that Brent was ok. I think that this is the second time this year that they have had a car destroyed.
