Gregg dillion teaches school greencastle i do belive drives a 600cc mini sprint at linton every friday

Marc Jessup owns a logistics company in Mooresville Indiana. Last I talked to him he was still wanting to race, just didn't have the proper funding.

Here are a couple of more that I thought of. What ever happened to Ron Dennis who ran sprint cars in Indiana. Also, I believe it was Ron Smoker who used to drive a midget at Bush Stadium. I think he was from out East somewhere.

Brad Devereaux now lives in Colorado Springs, CO with is wife Suzzette ( Mark Cummins' sister). I saw him this summer when they were home for the funeral for John Cummins (Mark and Suzzette's Dad). If I'm not mistaken he still works for his dad's elevator company.

Derek has been working in the IRL since 2003....quite a bit for Vision until they closed shop and now works for Panther Racing.

Cameron is still great friends with Michael Annett and has the same manager at "Rising Stars" from Des Moines that Michaels dad Harold owns. I see him at a lot of the Nascar races hanging with Michael. Still healing from his car accident.

JT asked about Rick Unger. He works for Stoops Freightliner in Indy on the southside. He always visits me in the Bell Helmet room at IMS during the 500 and we talk about the the old days of the All Stars......until Robin Miller shows up, or Dave Argabright and then we go back to the non wing days of the 70's amd early 80's. :3: He wheels a big Harley for fun now.

My good buddy Rex Norris III ran the Little 500 again this year. He doesn't race as much all over like he used to. He is happy helping his Dad with R Norris Trucking and works on his own Graphics business and has a wife too.

At least a couple years ago he was running the SCORA sprint series. J. T. probably knows more.

Derek Franks - I did see him race a pure stock once at the 'burg last year but is wondering what he is doing and if he has anything else going on.

Several years ago, Derek O'Dell parted ways with his car owner. Shortly after he was injured in a work accident. Still frequents local tracks and I do believe he is the Chief Mechanic for Derek LeMaster's #10 POWRi Micro. :32:

Last I heard, "Triple-D, aka Dirty Drivin Drew" retired from the Boone's Farm Bike Circuit and chasing his dream of being on the Speedway, IN Fire Department.

I also heard that Randy Mortland was spotted at the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds last week for the Arnie Knepper Memorial...

Good Larry Bland story. Back in the late 80's the Burg was a weekly winged track. Larry, Pup, Kev Briscoe, all racing weekly. One night I believe it was in the feature, but Larry's was haulin a-- and going through 3-4 something went wrong. In 4 the car goes straight off the track and the gas is mashed to the floor, the car hits the ground and shoots right into the front stretch wall. The car went from being the size of a sprint to about the size of a mini-sprint. Larry was pretty sore for awhile but it was really a crazy event.

Eric Shively has a very successful business building 600 micro motors. Was in Lafayette but now in new building in rural Carroll County.
