This is a message i got from an employee from the track

The promoter told usac five times before they went green that he was going to work the track but they went green anyway. He said they were going to "give the fans a track they can race on and enjoy"

That was the text i got

Kokomo is a great track but obviously EKracing has never been to Haubstadt.

Maybe we should give Lincoln Park Speedway a chance at sprint week.... It seems they've had a pretty good track the last few weeks. Just a thought though....

jscott101 7/14/11 8:18 PM

Lincoln park isn't a sprint week show because it has been awful for the past 6 years.. Spiked is turning it around and I'm sure it will be back on the schedule soon

told to go water or not, truck driver SHOULD have known the cars were on the track, lining up for a race.

sounds like he needs an appointment with a proctologist to get his ears properly cleaned out.

Keithly is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. You know why? Because race fans have to be the most fickle people, period. There's simply no satisfying some of you. If you're not complaining, you're not happy. Keithly and his staff have been working their butts off since Wednesday morning to try and get the track ready for tonight and I, for one, wish I was there to enjoy some dust in my beer instead of stuck at home. I could pull out the pat, tired, old boy's club excuses like "stay home if you don't like it" or "it's a dirt track, you're gonna get dirty", but I'd really rather people just quit their bitchin' and be thankful there are promoters willing to buck sanctioning bodies in an effort to give you the best show for your money.

I sure hope since there are no transponders that there are a few fans in the stands keeping their eye on the scoring during the races.

Normally I would agree with you about things, but the person on the water truck drove a water truck, over the track, during a green flag setting with cars on the track. That could have killed or hurt a racer if they would have collided with it if it had a sudden stop.
