The answer to the question "what the hell is going on" is: NOTHING! Most of the "national" midget clubs (besides maybe BCRA & ARDC) are doing NOTHING to improve this situation...

However,
"I" am old enough to have witnessed first hand what the Jimmy Carter years did to racing. Thank God, racing and everyone recovered, it took a while but it came back.

No one knows what is going to happen to the entire racing community in the coming months and years, but I have to remain hopeful, that once again we will all recover.

In spite of the times we are in we still have a lot to be thankful for!
