Loyett and a couple had to change or fix engines, They watered track after qualifications. Heats are about ready to go. DA does not run the track. Everytime I've been there despite multiple classes, I've never left after 1030 for the main class feature

what the hell does da owning the track have anything to do with why they are running late mason fleetwood runs it..i run down there every week and have never even seen da down there...and thanks for the feed..even though it cuts out at times

Guys this is a USAC promoted show. They are in charge of everything. The water was needed, and they made a great call on it

I don't attend a DA owned track because I promised myself NEVER to give that man a $1 of my money again. IF he didn't own it, I would be there for the race. I am sure that Mason Fleetwood is a good guy but that doesn't change the character he does business with.:34; My question was WHY are they running late on a week night with only 20 midgets and rain approaching? Anyone wants to complain about car counts. How about a midget show with 9 cars. So stay home and print crap! If you look hard someone has it worst. Midget only show too.

So SPiker has a five year lease and trying to buy Puttnamville, Making improvments ect but D.A will own the track for some time. Your not going to support him?

I understand your D.A frustration, He put lot of people thru some hell. THAT is finally out from under him forcefully but I have to support people trying to put on racing for us. D.A only gets the lease money and not the gate

I HOPE that Joe can get Lincoln Park squared away and be VERY successful. He has done a marvelous job with Vermilion County. With that being said, I promised myself after the last fiasco promoted by DA at Terre Haute that I wouldn't give this guy another $1 of my money to put up with HIS form of entertainment. I sat through way too many DA performances and saw first hand how he treated customers. When I first heard that Joe bought the track I was ecstatic. However, after the initial news it seems that he has only leased the track and DA still owns it. I hope for Spiker's sake that this whole business deal doesn't turn out like I think it might.:( I wouldn't try to discourage anyone from attending but I doubt that you will find my butt in a seat. With all of the options on Saturday night available, I will probably find an alternative to LPS.

Have had nothing but possitive visits at Twin Cities under Mason Fleetwood, The tracks ranged from good to holes but its still a neat place (Kinda flat track 3/8ths) Ran many nites everybody threw in the towel and allowing this feed tonight. He doesn't have too.

The OWNERS of VCS is the county government with the fairboard hiring the promoter. At NO point in time at VCS was I ever threatened with arrest, cussed at for parking where I was told by a track employee, having to endure a dust bowl, using a restroom that had urine running on the floor and out of the door and finally sitting in the grandstand and not being able to see the front stretch due to the height of the weeds. With DA this was a weekly happening and I finally got tired of the hassle. Enough is enough for me.

I have nothing bad to say about Mason Fleetwood since I don't even know him. However, if he chooses to associate with DA, I personally don't need to put myself in a position to endure anymore disappointment. I also believe that USAC has leased the track for tonight and Mason doesn't have anything to do with the feed. If I am wrong, someone will set me straight I am sure.

Chuck, I am glad you have had a great experience at Twin Cities and I hope that continues as well at Lincoln Park.

Mike, I got no problem with your view and reasons. My view of it is, WIthout these leases, Racing will cease to exist at these tracks. I talked with a couple racers who went to LPS a couple weeks ago. They had hundreds if not thousands in repair bills and said the track was basically un raceable (Same way it was at my NST visit) Ramps in the track.

I've seen LPS at its best, Believe me, I WANT IT BACK! :) Three grooves, A monster cushion and three wide :)

I have also seen it at it's best:6: and of coarse in not so good of shape.:7: We both agree that we want to see LPS back. My vision is slightly different in that I want to SEE it WITHOUT DA being associated with it in anyway shape or form. If Joe is successful and is able to buy the place, I wouldn't hesitate at being a regular.
