AERO,

Nothing you would want to see.:3: Stock cars from the CRA series but that is all that is racing on Monday in this area. I haven't been to Baer Field is a couple of years so I thought Kelly and I would head up that way.

One of the local Indiana tracks needs to put together a Memorial Day sprint car race. With all of the competition on Saturday nights, someone could be a leader and have Monday all to themselves. Probably won't happen in my lifetime though.:19:

SUNDAY- There is only one reason that any young man starts racing and that is the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend!! To any that have been or participated they know what I mean, to those of you that have not there should be no other choice!! Regardless of where they have raced and won, be it Daytona, Le Mans, Eldora, or Poedunkville Speedway, they dream of INDY. Some say it has lost its luster, some like to say its not what it used to be, some say that when the "Roadster Era" went away the place was never the same, then the CART/IRL split, the turbocharger, the wings, when they paved it, ect... This Sunday men will stand next to their cars or their sons, they will play 'Back Home Again in Indiana" and men old or young will have tears in their eyes and a feeling in their stomach unmatched by any other event, and not only the 'GREATEST SPECTICAL in RACING" will begin, but also a bound between generations. Little Al said "you just don't know what Indy means" , to those of us that do we live a life that others can only envy! I'll be at INDIANAPOLIS on Sunday!

Thanks carrytheleftfront, I'll go straight to Lawrenceburg.

1) I've never been to IRP and love midgets, so I could be talked into that one.
2) I have been to two Little 5's, although a pretty cool race and a MUST SEE, for ANY race fan, thats just not MY cup of tea.
3) I'm a dirt fan and love the NEW Lawrenceburg Speedway.

Where ever you decide to go this weekend, I hope everyone has a safe, fun and happy holiday weekend.

And last but not least, While everyone is watching some of the best racing on the planet, lets not forget what this weekend's all about. To ANYONE who has served, is serving or is about to serve The United States of America:9::9::9::9::9:......Happy trails EVERYONE...

Pine-You are right! No WOO show close. I guess I am lazy. I dont like to travel over 2 hrs unless its a 5K to win or better show. Would make exception for WOO show at the Big E. I like USAC etc. but saving the money for the WOO show at the burg

How about Greg Hodnet this past weekend!
