Friday and Saturday look pretty good...maybe a little left over Friday morning. I think the key will be how much rain there is today and tonight. Saturday looks pretty safe so hopefully Friday will be alright too. I can't wait. :greenflag:

How is Kokomo as far as calling the show off? Do they jack around, get everyone in then say sorry see you tomorrow? Or do they give it a good "go" as much as can be done? In the event of the dreaded rain-out, do they post things on the net pretty quick, and update the answering machine in a timely mannor?

Thanks

Well looking outside so far everything look great!!! But they still talking another storm coming in later. But the main thing looks like the forecast for Sat. and Sun this show should go off with a big Bang!!! As of right now I loading everything up and getting ready to head to the track tonight!!! The old lady and kid are on my last nerve. I just went to a major surgery this morning and not do that great and they just won't leave me alone. So I'm packing the motor home up and getting ready to head out!!!I think I should be able to make it ok since most of the drugs are out of me or at least until i get there. LOL Also trying to hurry up so I could lay out and cop some rays seeing that the temps are going to be in the 80's

Also wanted if they were letting people by laps this weekend? If so I wanted to post one lap "In memory of Jerry Shaw" :rolling:Man he just don't know whats he's missing.

Not really, I live right by the track and by my trusty rain gauge we have only had about 3/4's of an inch of rain since last night. With about 1/2 an inch over night with the day being windy and sunny. 1/4 of an inch since this storm moved buy. The wind should help us out if it does not rain anymore.

Went by the track earlier today and there were a couple of the usual puddles in the parking lot and by the main grandstand entrance. But I didn't see any water puddles in the pits. So if we get lucky and weather this next storm without alot of rain we should be OK! :greenflag:

Oh yea and there were a couple of campers already there.

We, the fans and racers, need to come out in full force to make this show,,,,AN EVENT! Something that you wouldn't miss next year if your funeral depended on it! It's a shame that we have had these last few weekends of great weather and none of the tracks are running. Can you imagine the crowd and packed pits there would be if there were a 2500 to win race on a saturday night at kokomo this time of year? I don't care if its 30 degrees this weekend..I'll be there... and the hat might make an appearance also!

Oh yeah, maybe for intermission entertainment AERO could run down the frontstrech shirtless!:rolling::applaud::moon:

I agree REALDEAL, I hope there is a great turnout this weekend at Kokomo! I'm not sure about Aero's intermission deal though. Do you think he'll still be able to run by intermission?? It may be more like 1 step forward and 2 steps backward. You never know about Aero!! lol :rolling:

He definately has a good time at the races.

Well we got some rain but as far as the rain goes we had three different storms last night with them only lasting about 15min's a piece if that. We had a couple of heavy sets of rain but hoping when it did come down it mostly ran off quicker than it fell. So all in all lets hope for the best!!!:checkered:

He definitely has a good time at the races.

I just wonder if Areo is one of them already camping at the track and getting a head start on the rest of us? I'll find out this afternoon and let you all know what's going on!!! Since were off work this week I have nothing else to do. But not doing so well right now after surgery yesterday I can't sleep. The bad part is yes I'm in pain and bleeding bad but I think the main reason is worrying about racing today. :rolling:

We did get a lot of rain around one am, I went by the track a little bit ago and there is one camper and some puddles, track looked black. Whatever you do dress warm as the temp. is not supposed to get very warm,(I think it feels great but everyone around me has a jacket and long sleeves on) sun is shinning now but they are calling for clouds and more wind this afternoon, chance of a sprinkle or two.

Maybe we will see you tonight.

It's about 9:10 AM. How does it look in Kokomo this morning? Does Friday night's races look good as scheduled? Should we head on over and get a room lined up yet?

How about an update from anyone over in that area.

Thanks :thumb::greenflag:

Thanks Jerry, I'm going to head that way shortly.
