They’re all great. But does anyone get tired of nicknames overused in a race call? I’m not sure who calls the races out west. In my opinion he’s very good, one of the best. But I swear sometimes I think if I hear “big game hunter” one more time I’m turning off the volume

Re: Driver nick names
I'll toot Tj Slideway's horn here, for he had some good names for some of the local Michigan/SOD drivers:
The Hooooooosier Rocket - Brett Mann Crikey...Steve Irwin "Captain Kirk" Chaney Double D - Dustin Daggett (I know.... Dave Darland) The Mack Daddy - Ken Mackey Flyin' Ryan Grubaugh (I know..... anyone named Ryan) But I had to give T.J. his accolades! How about some late model shoes? There are some REAL good ones. It is all in the broadcasting: The Kentucky Colonel - Steve Francis E.P.J. - Earl Pearson, Jr. The Bluegrass Bandit - Darrell Lanigan The Newport Nightmare - Jimmy Owens The High Side Hustler - Jason Feger The High Side Tickler - Kyle Strickler The Real Deal - Don O'Neal Mr. Smooth - Billy Moyer Kid Smooth - Billy Moyer, Jr. (It goes w/o saying - note above) :) Chubzilla - Chubb Frank And my favorite of all..... "Killer" Kyle Bronson |

Question on nicknames. Who’s the original Modern Day Cowboy. My favorite and deserving was Darren Clayton. But Indiana Late Model racer, John Gill also had that moniker. I’ve heard that also applies to some one racing out west if not mistaken. Clarification appreciated
