I believe they will run modifieds.

Its the fact that I know deep down if it was something OTHER than Modifieds, there wouldnt be ANY ******** what so ever. If we had scheduled Sprint Cars, we would be considered geniuses. But since its Modifieds, and a CHARITY race. Note the word Charity, we are still morons for scheduling such a dastardly event with Modifieds.

I wish they had stuck with the original date of October 5th. Nothing conflicting on that date. And I'd stop in on the way back from Belle Clair.

3:30 start time, and a proposed finishing time of 10:30 leads me to think there will be some pretty sore bums on seats for those that do attend. I cant believe even a big track such as Terre Haute cant run 2 classes of cars in 3-4 hours rather than the 7 it proposes.

I will be there. Be great for me because of the lighting, I can get good photos.

Let me remind people.

One year ago, there was grass growing on the track. Someone was trying to buy the fairground and turn it into another strip mall.

Instead, a year later, we have had 4 races. The stands have been pretty packed for most of the races. The Mike King is running the track for the first time in a long time (if ever). The track prep people never touched dirt track prep before May.

Mike had students from ISU come in and work on the track to get it ready and had qutie a few volunteers to help get the track ready for May. If you imagine what another person would have done it, they would have had to pay people and it might not have happened.

I wonder if the tunnel will finally dry out. I haven't been down there for a while to look, but it has been pretty dry, so hopefully it willd ry out.

Well if the wind is not blowing out of the south at least 10mph I wouldn't go. Other than that I will be in Florida anyways.
