That #1 car was actually built in the winter of '65. It was not the #9 from the previous year. I just saw the car today. It is in the beginning phases of its restoration.

I can't say beyond a shadow of the slightest doubt that it isn't Unser, but in '66 Roger McCluskey was the USAC National Sprint Car Champ with 770.5 points and Mutt Anderson won the car owner championship with 770.5 points for the H & H Machine Tool Spl. #51. Coincidental? I dunno. :confused:
