Also, does anyone know if they will be doing any updating during the race?? Will USAC have any thing on their website? Would love to go but impossible. Just have
to sit at home and wait for the phone to ring with results. Will the west coast have anyone doing updates on a different website? Thanks for any help in this.

I'm pretty sure as I was there as well, that Stewart's last lap pass driving Larry Browns #36 was on Johnny Cofer in the Esslinger 57 that night, and it was a USAC WS race and I think it was in 94 not 95 (his triple crown year). He had the midget title wrapped up pretty easily that year, and secured it with a mid pack run at Turkey Night. The title that he barely won was the Silver Crown where he charged from the back and finished 2nd at Sacramento. I could be wrong.....but that's what I recall. Either way, the place was hard on tires but an AWESOME venue. Winged NARC sprints were there that night too....I think thats the fastest I had seen a car go until I got to Belleville.

Looks like they will race half there season this weekend! So, I'm sure there no net at the track! Good old days they ran 13 races a year. The Outlaws would run a 3 day show. That was about half the season then!
If anyone does any updateing it would have to be by phone.

With that SMOKE win in that midget. He had a death wish. He only biked it 5 or 6 times trying to kill himself winning that race. The video does not do it justice!:applaud:
