Getting closer. :) Just thought I would throw this out there, if anybody making the trip needs some help we would be happy to lend a hand to any team that is short crew members.

Just a few days away now and looking forward to the USAC guys heading West, weather looks good for both nights at Eagle and McCool Junction. Really hoping for more than 20 cars but not matter what we'll still get the best of the traditional sprint car world!

Leaving at 4:00 AM Friday morning from the Denver Colorado area for the two races (Eagle & McCool). Three of us fans will pick up or buddy who lives in Lincoln and head to the track. Can't wait!!! Several years ago the SCRA non wingers put on a good show at Eagle . This should be just as good if not better. Great track. Jim Bredenberg

I am hoping for a good car count, but I would not count on many WAR guys making the trip. They will be racing at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday night with the ASCS Warrior region and the POWRi midgets. The POWRi midgets will be at Valley Speedway (Kansas City) on Friday night as well.

If you go to the museum on Saturday, you will be like the Maytag repairman. Tours are M-F at 2PM sharp

Do any of you locals know what the whereabouts are this Fri for Ballou, the Modern Day Cowboy, Coons, and Cottle? I would think that Ballou & Clayton might head west (especially Clayton, given the cash in his pocket from last Sat, and that it's another gas it up bullring) -- but not sure about Coons and Cottle.

Last I heard Ballou won't be making the trip.

As far as car count, I wouldn't expect much. They are also running winged 360's on the card so I'm sure that's
what all the locals will run. You might see Don Droud jr. and 2 or 3 others but that's about it. Hopefully USAC will bring a strong contingent so it won't matter!
