So I guess I wasnt really paid what was advertised? First you say I was paid exactly what was advertised, then you say nothing was advertised. Which one do you want to stick with? No matter how you want to present it,the facts remain the same, you wont find one driver or owner out there that would be happy making $50 tow for a big show that charges $30 entry fee. There is no reason that every non qualifying car shouldnt get $100. Seems thats what every other big show does and still no entry fee. Add that with what Mr Shuman pointed out kinda seems crazy to come to the Klash at all unless you are one of the top ten drivers. Just my opinion.

Look in your wallet before you go to any race... If you got enough cash to get there and get back home, then tow money doesn't matter. It is what it is... one of the largest gathering of cars and racers on any weekend anywhere in the midwest. Enjoy it for what it is or for the $50 you thought you lost out on. Remember, the less you give a f***, the happier you'll be!

I'll change my opinion for a 3rd time. Just be happy that you got $50 more than what wasn't advertised!

[Sarcasm] I think it's a great idea to pay a "performer" even when they don't perform well.

Paying tow money to guys who perform poorly during local Indiana racing is stupid.

Yeah I know... Being a car owner or driver can be tough on the wallet. My advice would be don't suck, drive faster. ;)

I have an idea why don't all of us teams that suck stay home so you can watch the handful of good drivers then next year the rest of the teams that suck can stay home too.

I say build more wallmarts and close all the race tracks. J.M.O.

I think I read it on the internet one time, it has to be true. anyway what would all the drunks do if there were no race tracks to attend? Thats the real worry I guess I would just stay home and drink warm beer, problem solved.

One key difference between racers and most other performers is that most performers don't have to pay to put on the show. It would be like a musician that has to buy a ticket to get into their own concert. If there was no pit pass or entry fee for the driver, then no "tow money" would be necessary. Tow money is basically just a term for the minimum amount given to teams that contributed to the racing program.

Even the teams that "don't suck" have bad luck or bad nights. Somebody runs into you in a heat and dumps you, you can't repair your car to run the B main or feature race, so the promotor doesn't give you tow money. Did you suck? No, just a rough night.

Saturday night of the Klash is one of my favorite shows every year. Annually freeze my ass off, but its worth it.

People like you ran people like Don off, how much have you spent this year to put a car on the track??? Don, Hoosier Race Fan and a ton of others have the same right to there opinion as you do and yes you can have your opinion.

People wonder why drivers and owners do not post, well being shot down for there opinion is one of the reasons they stay away.

Don Moore puts his money into a car and has what I believe to be some answers to some of the problems that face racing today, he gets on here and is called all kind of things and on one post was told he should take his midget and just go home if he does not like the way things are.

Ok while I am pi@#ing people off I think the people that baited duke Cook should have been banned as well, most of the people that made fun of Duke or said things knowing Duke was old school and would not run and hide with his tail between his legs like most of the keyboard jockeys teasing him would. And it is my opinion the same keyboard jockeys that got him going could not carry his jock let alone his helmet bag.

How about the guy from the west coast sure some of his post where off the wall but that did not give anyone the right to treat him the way some of you did.

You put your last dime in something go out and try to put on a show and not get at least your pit pass back then come on here and talk about how happy you are.

Go ahead and tell me if I don't like it to take our car and stay home because we and a bunch of other race teams are real close to doing just that.

I respect all of your opinions but the people putting on the show should at least be shown some respect, and yes I respect Don Moore.

Bad day your right, do I feel better, not at all
