4 heats of 6 cars.

It doesn't matter to me as long as the heats are fully inverted and the finishing order translates into feature starting positions. The heats must be "meaningful".

Problem is most traacks are one lane in heat races so if you draw crappy thats just about your nite bloomington does 3 heats for 18 cars only gripe about that they run 10 laps instead of 8 no reason for it from owner/ driver standpoint but with 3 heats makes people think more cars than really are most times 9 and 10 car heats just cause more yellows . jmo

3 with 8 cars...Less than 6 cars is not interesting and more than 9 can cause the drivers to get a little too anxious..JMO!..:)

Qualifying is boring and just burns up the track too quick..My .02 cents

7-8 cars is ideal. 6 or 9 is sometimes necessary but I would error toward the side that gives the fans more racing.

24 Cars=3 heats of 8

18 Cars=2 heats of 9

55 Cars=ASQ dreaming big after taking a pull on the crack pipe:10: 7 heats if we ever see this again.
