they were runnin about 170 down the backstretch at w.va. motor speedway a couple years ago (before they cut it back to a 3/8th)

This is a good link to what goes on at Bonneville; http://www.scta-bni.org/Bonneville/S...lts_index.html , Great car photos and speed table. I just know that 410 mph is FAST for a piston engine car.

This article on hoseheads explains a little more of why he only ran so fast yesterday.

Greendemon got 3rd license 185 mph now he can go as fast as he wants on their way back to the pits to change gears and run in the morning.

End of the day at Bonneville: Car spun out just as Damion was reaching 200 mph, he is ok, no damage to the car.
