To be honest you are all wrong, The best drivers in the world are ones who can Win in either series. They are mixed some run WoO some non wing.
If the non wing guys are the best of all why did the Wild Child take his wing off and Win the Mopar Million??? He did it against Yeley the year he was unbeatable in Tony Stewart's car. Just sayin Danny 24 |
Re: $50,000-to-Win#KingsRoyal @EldoraSpeedway
Stevie Smith was second in the Mopar Million with very little non wing experience.

Because you get around Eldora the same way whether its wing or non winged.....on any other track the odds are much slimmer.

you guys are arguing about this for the umpteenth time and nothing is ever going to be settled. The big news was Smoke calling Kinser "my ******* teammate" that had the crowd buzzing.

I am a huge wing fan.. the racing this weekend sucked... I have to admit.... how about Tony Stewart calling Steve K a A#$ Hole, not once but twice on the public address system when interviewed after Tony crashed? Be last year for Steve K driving with TSR. I just hope Stewart gives David Gravel or Shane Stewart a chance at one of the top rides in the sport.

Great KR 30th last night. The track was in much better shape than Friday Night. Eldora gave it a much better effort to get the low groove working and to keep it there. 42 WoO sprinters, 35 NRA sprinters.
The first 25 laps between Sweet, Wimmer, and Schatz was classic action. Then came the Stewart flip. Typical Tony interview after the fact - it is never his fault. Call Steve Kinser what he wishes, but there is a reason why Kinser is called "The King". Prior to the race, Eldora showed pictures on the big screen of all the previous King's Royal winners (Kings). Kinser was up there many times. I didn't see Stewart's face. Great night. Congrats to Brad Sweet. He had the measure of them for most of the night and held them off when he had to hold them off. Brandon Wimmer had a great night, too. The speedway had the track in great shape. Big crowd. Everything was great. Prior to the Feature, as the Eldora Speedway Queen and her Court were escorting the drivers onto the stage, I was surprised at how many fans did not realize that Rico Abreu was a little person. I also realized at that time the ignorance, closed mindedness, drunkeness, and lack of class of a lot of the fans with their comments. There is definitely a difference between a WoO crowd and your regular weekly sprint car crowd. I get reminded of that at every WoO race. Wherever you were this past weekend I hope your racing was grand. Mine sure was. Congrats to Darren Long for winning BIG in the NRA Feature. And once again, congrats to King Brad the 30th. |
