Note that Mitch started on the tail and drove the wheels off it to the lead. Unfortunately blew up and caught fire after the checkers.
The light shower was just enough to settle any dust and made it an ass haulin track.
They have a fair next week, but sprints are on the card again in 2 weeks. They liked what they saw, including the large crowd.

Yes the Racing and the Fans made the Fair board Happy so the sprints have been added to the July 12 race .. next week is a fan app. night so thats still on .. Fans ... More people and cars show up in two weeks and theres a good change that the SPRINTs may have found a home in ILL...Hope too see you there the 12...... Gary

Mitch posted on FB, "it just blew the seal out of the oil filter." It did enough fire damage that he has a lot of work to do in order to be ready for THAT Tuesday, though.

He had that happen earlier too, I loaned him that filter. Cheap fire otherwise then.

The rain might have delayed things, but the track was fast and smooth. The feature had multiple lead changes with Ballou and Weyant at the beginning of the race, Irwin and Mitch from the middle on. There was high and low grooves on both ends, it was a real nice race. I hope Aric Gentry is feeling better.
