Actually, I just learned that the 14 starts 9th in the main, along with Kyle, who will start 8th. They both were top 2 qualifiers, got in through their heats and they kick them in the cluster with this start? Wow.. Last trip for this kind of format I can assure you. Promotes Sand Bagging. I thought top 6 were being inverted? That's what they first reported to multiple people at beginning of the night. 9th doesn't even make sense - who does a 9 car invert??? Format should have been clearly communicated prior to this race.

Just goes to show if theres no racing in Kokomo on a Sunday night, it's just not racing.... Good luck to all who made the trip to Ohio....

They first reported that it was heads up; qualify fast; start up front. Then it was top 6. Now it's whatever they decide. Outrageous! Your top qualifiers are put to the mid pack. Absolutely absurd. I feel bad for those teams, mine included, that put their best forward right off... PG

If this is the case that's just wrong....they need to have their ducks in a row prior to a race with formats posted and not deterring from then unless it's extenuating circumstances. To change mid way through the night is ridiculous. If I was the top 6 guys I would demand to speak to the promoter.

In fact I just went back and read the posts regarding the format on the earlier thread from someone I am assuming is affiliated with WRP - no where in there is any mention of a 9 car invert......just that final format would be announced at driver meeting.

Waynesfield has done some really sketchy things this year. Thats why my car is in the shop right now. Dont take my word for it. You are seeing it first hand tonight.

There isn't even a feature line up on the board yet, so I'm not sure what's the big deal is right now.. Not defending them at all, every line up they have posted tonight was wrong.. But only B's are posted
