Re: Tulsa Shoot out?

The last that I saw was $1000. to win,$500. for second $250. for third and $100. after that. Last year there was no B feature money I was told but I don't know that for a fact. I ran 7th last year and got $100.
I really like racing indoors but if you count the laps it makes in terribly expensive to do. Last year with motel, gas, entry fee and pit passes I spent real close to $1500. that makes it cost about 60 bucks a lap.
I would like to do it again but that kind of money I could go run a whole lot more laps in Florida or pay my fuel and tire bill for all of 2012.

Not a cheap week and if your paying the bills you may not be worried about it but you sure are thinking about it.

Mark what-everyou do don't quit you day-job to make your way in racing. The best way to make a small fortune racing is to first start out with a large one "SMOKE" excluded. Wonder if some day he will have an old VW rabbit restored and put in his museum. Best I can remember it wouldn't take much restoring to get back to the original condition he drove it in.:5:

Last year I ran a 12.09 final but I really needed a 12.33 thats with a 06 R1 Yamaha. With the 12.09 it only turned the motor about 12700 and it was sluggish coming off the turn.
Hope that helps.
