i do not as of this time have any contact to finish this process. was hoping for some input from a driver or USAC official to kinda put me in touch with people to help. Heading out now for THAT and i have a sign and donation box. Find me if you can help me with this, I'll be in a new gray HARF t-shirt. Thanks to you all for the great response, bob.

just talked to Jason McCord from USAC and he told us that they are going to have a donation box at pit gate and will pass the helmet at intermission. Get your monies ready.

is there a way for people to donate that can't be there? I have a 50 year Past Master award tonight at my Masonic lodge so no way can miss that.... but still want to give if possible

Yes, check out the link I posted earlier to wthitv page and there is a bank account set up for his fund.

Also, wthi tv, hi99 & 105.5 the river in terre haute did a fundraiser today and people donated over 25k.

Driver's did come into grandstand with helmets. I donated.

I did too. I assumed that was what it was for. You cannot hear the PA system there. I would like to know how much was collected.

On my way home last night after the race, stopped by the police department and took a few photos of his car.

I want to add, also, that the funeral is Monday at 11am at the Hulman center. If you want to see it and can't get into TH, it will be streamed live on www.wthitv.com and more then likely be available afterwards (though there will be delay when it will be) on there also. It will also be on tv on wthitv. It will also be on other channels I would assume, but it will only be one feed, so they will all be the same.
