Re: Sorry Guys...Brownstown USAC information
Too many support classes = bad. Zero support classes = also bad. No time to run to the pits, B.S. with other IOW members. etc. Adding what is usually a half-way decent support class isn't going to stop me from going.

Jerry, I Agree, but Some People Want To ***** About Every Little Thing.they Would Rather Sit Between Races With Nothing At All On The Track.true Race Fans Don`t Mind A Support Class Or Two.no More Than That Won`t Hurt Anything

Re: Sorry Guys...Brownstown USAC information
I consider myself a true race fan. I enjoy watching all different types of racing. If it has wheels and goes fast I am hooked. I have seen some excellent racing in support classes. On the other hand I have also seen some very poor racing in support classes.
The ideal situation, in my opinion, is a maximum of two support classes with a time limit on each race or a feature only race for the support classes. It moves the program along while giving everyone the opportunity to get home at a decent hour. I don't need to see a marathon racing evening of 6 or 7 classes racing for 5 hours or more and still have to drive home 2 or 3 hours. |
Re: Sorry Guys...Brownstown USAC information
Guys to be honest...yes he was a little worried about the fan count with us not being a Sprint Car track. And just to ease the pain a little. Dont expect but maybe 10 crates..so it might take about 2 minutes out of the program. So if that is keeping you from coming to the show...I dont know what to tell you

Re: Sorry Guys...Brownstown USAC information
I've been looking forward to this race since it was announced. Adding crate late models to the card isn't keeping me away.
