With the local drivers/spectators that are upset about all this, one thing to keep in mind is this. The remainder of the racing program is being made up this week (5/21).

The local Mini Stocks and FWD's will finish up their respected heat races (supposed to be run last week) and then the make-up features will take place.

From there, a new racing program will be run based off that night's time trial results. So basically, assuming that everyone from last week will come back, they were going to have to buy a pit pass/entry anyway, so in a sense they are now breaking even on what they were rained out of last week.

As far as the spectators, we were passed the 50% rain check portion of the night, so that is why rain checks were not issued. Next HOSS Sprint Car race at Baer Field will be Friday, June 24th for the 14th Annual "Gold Cup" race which the sprints will probably go 40 laps instead of the traditional 30, with a full local program as well.
