COmpare the crowds for the Late Model shows against anything else they run down there. Now if there were more support for anything else, it would be a different story.

Re: Florida Sprint Action in February 2011
Nun that is true you see better racing with the late models then you do with the WFL (winged follow leader) sprints. This is why more and more people are liking the taxi cabs...JUST BETTER RACING....but take those damn crutches off the top and it's a whole new story is best and it's coming boys....non wing is poping up everywhere across the country:22:

Re: Florida Sprint Action in February 2011
I understand that Hendry County is working on a deal and there should be news soon. I would encourage fans to attend if there are sprints there. Last year they got rained out one of the two nights and had a very small crowd the other night, and they are still willing to try again. You have to support a track which will do this. They are also in the middle of stock car country, but are still willing to try. Also, where else can you get fried gator tail bits in the concession area? Really tasty! Also, they should be nice and warm, since they say they are the farthest south of any Florida track.
Hopefully, someone else will take the opportunity to help put together a real Florida nonwing sprint tour. Wouldn't three tracks be great? |

[QUOTE=Papa Outlaw;201713]Frank From my understanding it is a done deal...
Great! My email from the track was several days old. Connections out here in the West haven't been the best I have ever seen. If you absolutely must have good internet connections when you travel, you might want to contact me for a list of where NOT to go. Seriously, I hope that lots of people support this show. They certainly deserve it after rain and very short crowds last year and they are still doing it again. |
