It sounds as though you are talking about this weekend (Aug 20-21)

Lernerville would be the closest and has Sprints, Super Lates, Big-Block Mods and Sporstman(pro stocks). Usually always a good show.

Sharon is probably just under a two hour drive depending on your location in Pittsburgh. As far as facilities go, Sharon is one of the finest around. Sharon LINK

This is from the Sharon PR:
HARTFORD, Ohio (August 18, 2010) - The DIRTcar Challenge Sprint series will take to Sharon Speedway on Saturday in a $2,000-to-win feature event.

The Series comprises 10 races at four tracks, with a $12,500 point fund. Currently, Ed Lynch Jr. leads Bob Felmlee and Rod George in points, although Danny Holtgraver and newly-named Sharon Speedway 2010 Gibson Insurance Agency 410 Sprints Champion Jack Sodeman Jr. aren't far behind.

The DIRTcar CSS previously appeared at Sharon Speedway in July as part of the Lou Blaney Memorial, when Mike Lutz led all 30 laps to record a win. Saturday's appearance will be your final chance to catch the DIRTcar CSS at Sharon Speedway this season.

The Governor Insurance Agency Big Block Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Hobby Stocks and Limited Sprints will also run on August 21.

Mercer IS NOT racing sprints this week!

Hope everthing works out well with your mother's health issues.

Hope every thing works out for the best for you and your family.

I get exactly what he is doing. A couple of years ago, I was out in CA for my mother's memorial service. It was on a Saturday, and in the spring. Now, I don't get out to CA too much. The service was in the early afternoon, and right after, I changed and my son and I headed up to my old home track at Placerville.

Who are you to judge anyhow? Help him out on his post or don't respond, simple as that. Hope you find what you are looking for.
