Feature Finish:
1. 2M Dustin Daggett
2. 17 Jared Horstman
3. 23 Ben Rutan
4. 6N Dain Naida
5. 1 Kent Wolters
6. 2H Dallas Hewitt
7. 46 Robert Huisken
8. 19 Brett Mann
9. 61X Greg Dalman
10. 10X Davey Brown
11. 55 Kirk Cheney
12. 70 Jim Linger
13. 21 Matt Lumbert
14. 187 Gavin Hunyady
15. 3W Ryan Grubaugh (DNS)

I think Grubaugh had a the new Jack Roush 360 Ford in his car. He was really fast in the dash but something broke and he didn't make the call for the feature.

You'd probably just be in that thread complaining about the race there. ;)

I cannot figure out the 360's. Lima usually has around 25 local cars that run there. However, they won't travel to support 360 racing. The NRA runs a few other races away from Lima and they seem to only get around 16 cars. Waynefield does not even seem to get a full field and they are about 30 miles from Lima. Eldora seems to do ok for some reason.

I know that the Kokomo race was a SOD event and not NRA but a few more Lima/NRA cars would have been good. From the results, I know of only 2 Lima cars, Wolters and Hewitt.

Glad I made the trip, but yes a little more competition would have been nice. NRA cars were a no show, and that really hurt. 360 winged sprints are perfect for that track. Hope they try again next year without racing in michigan the 2 previous nights. Makes it tough for a budget racer.

Wing or not doors or fenders racing is racing. Thank you too the drivers for doing what they do to entertain us. :22:

Say Jerry a question for you cuz you would probably know, or someone else 4 sure: I was under the impression that John Naida started the S.O.D sprints back in the early 80's, tell me if I'm wrong about this. He was a pretty good shoe in his day also.

John Naida did start SOD and his son Dain Naida who ran 4th last night is still involved in running the series as he does most of the scheduling and off season work. They have a great group of officials who run the show at the track.

Hopefully the show brought some new fans to Kokomo. Big thanks to Kokomo for bringing something different in for one night and giving SOD a shot.

ok, i agree it was somethin different which is nice once a year, but 15 dollars worth? no, more cars yes

I think its great that Kokomo brought in another class to help bring new fans to the track. I like seeing something different every once in a while. Plus, there were 2 other tracks racing non-wing sprints last night. They probably would not have had more than 15 if they did race non-wing sprints. They have barely had that lately with no other tracks racing the same night. I wish I could have made it to see the show last night.
