Sorry to see that half of the top ten in USAC points, might not be at the Burg.Can't believe Dave Rudisell is real happy about this non-points deal?? Even a USAC homer like me is having trouble putting a good spin on this,:2: Seems like you would wanna give points to those who support you and take away from them that don't??;)

Where did I say I wouldn't be there?I support USAC , Lawrenceburg and ALL other tracks they run. Everything you said could be accomplished without any sanction for this one race. As much as I like USAC and the Burg,I don't see how sanctioning this as a "Special Event" helps either?

Since this is a non points race is there still an age rule? We would love to come and run the Dick Gaines Classic.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I am glad that you have stepped up to the plate to make this a big event. Dick Gaines is one of the biggest legends of our sport and he deserves this type of event. Also great move on the format best system going.:6:
