If I remember right Tony never ran many 410s when he was racing Sprints a lot of V6s. He probably owns more 410s than he raced.:action-smiley-049:

Too much chance of getting hurt and screwing up his day job. I don't think Home Depot and his other sponsors would take the news well that he was injured barrel rolling down the front straightway of Eldora. Non wing sprints seem to do that more than other forms of race cars. Having said that, I think Carl Edwards broke his thumb this year driving a late model, so you never know.

Midgets are the flippingest (is this a word?) creations I have ever seen, and he races the Chili Bowl every year. Even got hurt here lately doing so. I still think it has a lot more to do with the people writting the checks. They probably look at sprints like most look at crotch rocket motorcycles, but I bet more people are killed on cruisers every year.

Didn't he take a pretty good lick at a WoO show a year or two ago?

I think a better question would be why doesnt Gordon even get in a midget or a sprint of any kind now? Im just happy to see Stewart have the kind of support for open wheel racing that he does and still gets in them at all.

It would be nice to see Gordon support USAC with a team.

Flipped hard down the back stretch and got hung up on the wall/fence...Didn't he break his arm and hide it from everyone? :emote20:
