& what happened at Macon last year? I tried looking it up but Richie's stories are packed full of info, but I didn't notice anything that jumped out. The DQ deal right (was anyone really)? Idt that was published right? How about the fines? I really can't remember for sure I follow about 30 racing series... |

It wasn't a grey area if you could read the rules, but chassis builders put places to mount weight there. USAC chose not to take any action then and changed the rule making it legal prior to the start of this season. Everyone's over it except Yeleyfan. The morals of the story? USAC has favorites(no kidding), and that it wouldn't hurt RB to eat a salad once in a while so he has more weight placement options. Or you could say it was an outdated rule and as long as the lead is mounted safely a non-issue. I would say that USAC discriminates against normal-sized adult males. You'd see some changes in the finishing order if they added 50lbs. to the minimum weights in both Sprint Car and Midget. Everyone understands there are guys out there who aren't fat that can't make minimum with no bolt-on lead right? I have my own conspiracy theory about that... |

As for the dance floor question, you will have to go back for a story from Usac posted on here about the accomplishments of Kevin Miller being president. One such great asset to paying a higher purse and promoting the best on track racing, is a new dance floor at the office instead of cubicles. |
