Re: KOKOMO SPEEDWAY - Hornets $100,000 to win April 18th & 1
Rick, I’m betting on you over the C word! You’re tougher than a $2 steak. Stay strong and positive buddy, You’ve got a lot of support and prayers from the racing family ❤️. Looking forward to seeing you soon ( No Way Out 40? ), having a cold one with you :32: and catching up.

I just wonder if the drivers will actually get paid? Its ok, I'll be the one to ask. This has nothing at all to do with Kokomo Speedway and everything to do with XR. I know one of the $100,000 to win drivers, did get paid. He had to do a crappy Facebook video 3 months after the race to get paid. Hope the local racers do their research.

How about a $40 GA admission price on Saturday?
This is going to be an either or event. Either the promoter is going to make a lot of money, or the prices is going to scare everyone away. $600 for early registration and it goes to $800 the day of the race. The best way to make a small fortune in racing is to start with a large one. |
Re: KOKOMO SPEEDWAY - Hornets $100,000 to win April 18th & 1
Sadly, this hornet weekend are basically the only new dates on the Kokomo schedule. All other dates same as last year. Only two "regular" nights for sprint cars. What's the incentive to build a thunder car when you can only race it 3 times at Kokomo? Thought for sure with those new bleachers and concession area there might be a few new nights. After all, race nights bring in revenue. Clearly the special event nights are where the profits come from. 60,000 people live in Kokomo and sadly it seems they don't want to support the baddest bullring in Indiana. Hopefully no nights get rained out.
