Anybody remember at the Hoosier Hundred and Loyd Ruby
in a Red and White car. Running near the front. I watched Dave Laycock unload that car with a Turbo. I think it had air cleaner and it plugged up with dirt. Lynn |
I just go back to a conversation i had with Sam Hornish Jr. face to face at a non-racing event with only 2 or 3 other people around.
Very loosely quoted, Sam said Roger is a guy that has his businesses so he can race. His racing is not a tax writing purpose of his businesses. Sam assured me that Roger loves it all and that IMS is in great hands. Sam didn’t have to defend Roger when I voiced my concerns. I was just a nobody in small room with almost nobody around. Instead l, he acknowledged my take that Roger can seem a bit standofff-ish and then explained his usual stoicism and the aforementioned conversation love of racing. |
