Thanks, some actual info!
So "Ti" stands for titanium?.... just like my knees, good stuff :)
I used to build horse carriages with a guy & we used your brakes too. I don't know jack about horses, just built the carriages.... but I guess they don't always listen?? Or you need the brakes for going downhill??? :24:

I've been seeing this more often with the guys using Titanium rotors. Not as much as Macri's car but more and more guys are using them because they are lighter in weight and the brakes seem to work better the hotter you get them. Yes they are much more expensive than a regular steel rotor combination.

Occasionally on this board you get the facts and I enjoy it, Even if it's correcting something I was wrong about. Oh and I've been chewed.

But you learn from it and if you don't learn something everyday, Is it really living?

Thanks Wilwood

I remember back in 88-89 at Florence LM's and Bloomquist just destroyed the field. Was driving in a hundred feet deeper than the rest. The guy I was pitting for said, Yeah, He's got these new carbon fiber brakes. Cost a fortune, But you see the results... Well they've come a long way and it's not uncommon for OEM on street cars now. in fact most have some form of carbon fiber pads. or ceramic. Soon, Titanium?
