Measure the wire diameter of the springs. Different wire diameter will give the same rate but a different feel.

Sounds good 👍 to me, same deal with bars, take a 1" bar, vs a 3/4" bar, with the same rating, the smaller bar will feel softer, I think! A lot is what you get used to, and it's hard to explain.
