Re: BOSS Sprints Invade Montpelier This Sat., Sept 9th
Was a great show. Track held up. left after sprints as I was cold.
Good to see Stensland back in Victory Lane even if he don't own the car he was wrenching it. Was great talking with Dave SR as I haven't talked to him in about 5 years at Gas City. Got to talk with JJ Hughes, his wife, Finally got the meet Garrett Abrams. Chatted with Michael Fischesser, Bobby Gomph and others and even a hello from Josh and Jerry Spencer.. Sat in the pit grandstand which was definate improvement from my midget week last year perch in turn four. Wasn't big on the break as it was cold. but it is what it is and I guess the track was a bit better for the feature. Cooper Clouse was coming on strong the last seven laps and had fourth till jumping the cushion. don't know where he finished. but he came around after the checker with a flat RR. Glad Irwin was ok. Only seen him do really well on slickies before last night but he was hauling the mail both in Heat and feature till the flip. Was probably about my 7th BOSS show this year and had a excellent time as always |
