Definitely not arguing that the Badger formula is wrong. We race Badger (shameless plug, Season opener, May 7th, Sycamore Speedway, weather looks VERY favorable). All I'm saying is that through the years, racing costs have ALWAYS risen to the same level of financial pain, regardless of what the "living wage" was at the time. It's no more expensive to race today as it was 3-4 generations back. The "stock block" platform for midget racing is a great tool to keep the sport alive and prospering.
