I haven't posted anything on this yet, only because i wasn't there, but my sister and bro-in-law were. He did have very unsportmanship conduct! It's ridiculous that he has to act his way. Swerving at an official...come on he needs to grow up. What if he did hit the official? He should of just went 2 spots back and left it at that!!
Also he is very rude! My son is 3 yrs old and we always go to Haubstadt. I cheer for everyone, I took my son to the pits and he wanted to go see Jon so I took him over there. He was the rudest driver I have ever met!! My son wanted to sit in his car and he flat out told him NO. He was 3 what would it of hurt for him to sit in the car?? Again he needs to grow up..we don't need this kind of ignorant attitude in the series or any series at that!!

Does anyone really know what actually started this thing with Memmer? I mean before the swerving, flipping, swearing, etc. I thought there was a call made for an incident in turn 1 when Hunter S. forced someone (??) up and over the berm and perhaps Memmer pushed Hunter up into the other car. I really don't know, but right after this yellow was when the theatrics started. With this and the Bomber incident, I felt like I went to a fight and a race broke out. Anyway, it was entertaining but stupid. :34:

I will tell you one of the track people was saying that tonight was memmers first night back from a 2 week suspension for doing something there similar. And I didn't see him near hunter but that doesn't mean he wasn't there. I thought they were just lining them up after and he didn't want to go where they were saying.

You are exactly right! The kid is an idiot, but he most likely gets it honest. I would hate to have to explain this type of behavior to any sponsors. Very embarassing moment for the sport. The dad showed his ignorance one night at bloomington when another driver went down to let the kid know his displeasure with turning him around in the feature. The dad intercepted the conversation because god forbid his kid get any criticism or maybe take an a$$whoopin on his own. Then tried to instigate a confrontation with the driver. Nice to know he threatens to pull a handgun, handled just like the true coward I would expect him to be. These guys should be on HBO running Anderson.

Hunter was running 2nd and the 22 of Brett Triplet came down the front stretch on the outside........once Hunter saw Brett beside him, he ran him deep going into turn one and bumped him off the track and Triplet came to a stop bringing out the yellow. It had nothing to do with small member, but he had just passed a guy for 4th and was being put back to 5th on the restart.......that old "revert back to the last completed lap policy" and he wanted the spot he thought he just earned. And every drivers meeting we hear "don't argue with the officials, you're not going to win". Everyone has been bit by one of these calls but in all of my years of racing they seem to be right 95% of the time. But what Jon did........if you weren't there, you would believe it.
For those who were at the meet and greet in Turn 4........good to meet you all, it was short but sweet as they say and for sure lets do it again.
