Happy to see a small family team get their first win in the sprint car ranks.
Congratulations to Dave, Mikey, and Nancy Gass. On the Gass Racing picked up their first career win as car owner Wednesday night at Gas City with Kevin Thomas Jr. I spent many late nights sweating my a$$ off and fighting off killer mosquitoes working in the garage back in their midget days. I know they work thier tails off to get the races. Look for more strong nights from the blue #17 On the Gass Racing with KTJ working the loud pedal and Chuey turning the screws! |

Totally agree with LJC77 about the Gass family win. It truly is great to see a small team such as this reach victory lane after so much time, money and effort have been expended to do something that they love. Keep up the good work and continued good luck to a fine family.
