What did I miss? Why is Kyle Cummins in the 21X sprint car and not the 3r? Has the 3r ceased racing or combined with another team?

Sometimes things happen and I find it"s best not to ask why. Looks like Kyle has a good ride and the 3R was at Bloomington Friday with Mark Smith. The positive outlook is the car count increased!

Mark Smith is the Chassis Maker isn't he? He comes West sometimes for a non wing tuneup before PA USAC and Sprintweek IN.

I wouldn't read too much into it. The 3R was at Bloomington and so was Kyle.

There is a Mark Smith in PA who owns Mach 1 chassis and he does travel at times to do some wingless racing, I haven't seen his name mentioned at any of the tracks here in PA this weekend.

the 3r was a mach 1last time I saw it.

I'll just have to assume it was Smitty from Mach 1 in the 3R. Now I'm wondering how long he is staying in the midwest? I'm glad Mark races without a wing on occasions, I wish more PA guys could try it, but I know it just isn't in the budget of many teams. Slowly, PA is picking up more and more wingless sprint car racing, I think its a good trend.
