2010 R1 Tach Mystery

My Acewell Tach is hooked up to the original tach sender wire from the ECU. At first the readings were ridiculously high, so I installed a 1M Ohm resister per instructions. Now the low readings are fine, but the max reading is 12,600 regardless of how hard it's on the Rev Limiter. What is anyone else using for a 2009-2014 R1 Tach? Thanks for looking at this!

That should be about your limit with that motor , so it shouldn't go any higher ......

I had a similar situation with my 08 r1 and fixed it with a smaller resistor. I think I ended up in the 750k ohm range.
