GUARDINO TAKES “TURKEY NIGHT” SPRINT PRELIM

Ventura, CA……..Tristan Guardino of Fremont, Calif. won Wednesday night’s 20-lap USAC West Coast Sprint Car special event at Ventura Raceway, a prelim for the Sprint portion of Thursday’s 76th “Turkey Night Grand Prix.” Wheeling the Steve Watt Maxwell Industries/Steve Watt Enterprises Maxim/Chevy, he passed Cory Kruseman on lap six and led the rest of the way to beat Kruseman, Michael Pickens, Geoff Ensign and Chase Johnson. The Sprint cars also compete as part of Thursday’s “doubleheader” featuring the USAC National & Western Midgets in USAC’s final points race of the 2016 campaign.
