13,500 for an EcoTech? I know plenty of guys that bought a used national motor for less than that

...But you can't race a "National motor" with two many series any more..."Kinsler Injection, Dry Sump", etc; pretty much the same (or better/since prolly newer) as those used "National Engines"...
An MWR car just won the Short Track Championship race at Rkfd Spdwy this Sat...by approx. a straight-away! (Ironically, last I knew, that series DOES still allow restricted "national engines" but the entire starting field this wknd was Ecotecs...I speak for no one, but I wouldn't bet against there being some more midget races at Rockford next season!)
