Will be in South Bend Sat 9/24, looking for a track to attend within 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. Prefer dirt but paved is better than no racing. Would appreciate any info or suggestions. Thank you.

Miami county speedway running mini sprints nw and winged on dirt. Free admission I believe. Hot laps 2 or so racing at 6:30. Peru Indiana. A women I work with is running a mini 600wing. Should be within your range.

paragon is 3 hours from south bend, but weather is supposed to be beautiful, and between the johnson memorial, no racing at lps, and last race of the season i would expect a packed house of sprint cars.

Just looked at Angola speedways website and they have a "run what ya brung" feature on the 24th.. Angola is a big 3/8 mile track that is probably less then a hour east on 20 from South Bend. I'm sure it would be worth the drive!
