This post is a little off topic for IOW but I must tell all you folks if you are ever in Connecticut, check out the Waterford Speedbowl. I went there last night and found it to be an amazing experience. Pavement track racing may be on the decline here in the Midwest, but it is thriving in the Northeast. The main card was the SK Modifdes with four support classes including NEMA Lite winged midgets. Progressive banking made for side by side racing all night. Twelve 10 lap heats and Five 25 to 35 lap features and done before 9:30.
